Breaking Ground 2013 was held from February 15-18, 2013
in Baltimore, MD at Johns Hopkins University. 
Breaking Ground 2013 was RFC's second National Summit: an opportunity to gain critical campaign skills, connect with students from across the US, and be inspired by stories that help us be more effective in our work. This is an exciting way to unite students in a time where we can see a real shift in our food economy. Students spent the weekend sharing stories, engaging in strategic planning for GET REAL! campaigns, and networking with other student leaders working for real food. Our first National Summit, Breaking Ground 2012: Students Uniting for a Real Food Economy, was held at the University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) in Santa Cruz, CA and brought together 150 student leaders from across the country.
