Want to connect to other students, see what's going on around the country, and learn more about the real food movement? Don't have anything happening on your campus related to food but want to start? Then Get Connected!
How?
- Add your name, email, and school to the database.
- Go to the RFC Resources page for more ideas and information on topics ranging from starting a college farm to buying fair trade products.
- Join the RFC email list and stay informed. Simply enter in your info on the homepage.
- Take advantage of RFC opportunities as they come your way!
LEVEL 2: GET ACTIVE
Move forward, network, share ideas
Already working on food issues on your campus? Do you want to further your work and the work of your peers? Then Get Active in the network!
How?
- Contact a Real Food Challenge Regional Coordinator and find out what other student leaders are doing.
- Join regional conference calls and get some great ideas about new projects and actions you could take on.
- Attend and/or host regional trainings to network and build solidarity in the real food movement.
- Become an RFC Organizer. Contact your Regional Coordinator.
- Join the RFC team as an intern, taking on part of a project. Contact Anim Steel at asteel@thefoodproject.org.
LEVEL 3: TAKE THE CHALLENGE
Change business as usual. Campaign for Real Food Now!
Want more real food in your school? Already working with dining services to do this? Take the Challenge!
How?
- Challenge your school to increase its real food purchasing and contribute to the national goal of 20% Real Food by 2020.
